After students receive their acceptance letter and make the decision to come to South Mountain, Sendoffs mark the first leg of their Lehigh experience. Alumni and parents nationwide host incoming students and families to welcome them and introduce them to the strong alumni network.
The new students and their families take this valuable opportunity to connect with alumni, parents, and current students. They learn about the history of Lehigh and its traditions and kickstart their next four years. This year, over 900 incoming students, alumni, and families participated in Sendoffs.
