For Foundations

The CFR office works closely with our faculty and staff to facilitate strong relationships with local, regional, and national foundations. Our goal is to identify areas of mutual interest and create opportunities for long-term engagement. We can work with you to do the following:   

• Help identify potential foundations for specific projects or programs
• Introduce faculty and administrators to foundation leaders and program officers to explore priorities and areas of mutual interest
• Provide advice, strategic direction, and best practices to university leadership, faculty, administrators, and DAR staff regarding private and family foundation funders
• Collaborate with faculty and administrators across the institution to develop compelling and competitive inquiries, proposals, and applications
• Assist with stewardship of foundations, including visits, reports, and updates as needed.
