Students in 1956 faced the same challenge that students in 2024 faced: A University Center under renovation. W. Beall Fowler '59, professor emeritus in physics, takes us back in time to discuss what students did during those renovations and what it meant when the University Center reopened.
Today’s Clayton University Center at Packer Hall not only will be restored to its original grandeur, but will also be reinvented into a vibrant space that fosters collaboration and community building among students.
