In support of Lehigh's mission and women’s leadership, West Coast alumnae gathered in San Francisco to hear from an empowering panel who answered questions about leadership and shared insights on their career experiences.

Kendall O'Brien '84, Ann Lewnes '83 '22P, Sandy Stelling '91, and Amy Weaver '23P engaged in a powerful discussion on the impact Lehigh alumnae can make as professionals and for Lehigh students.

Other speakers included College of Health Dean Beth Dolan, Development and Alumni Relations Vice President Carol Packard, and President Joseph Helble ’82. Soaring Together Scholar Roisin Gaffney '27 also spoke to the group, sharing her journey.

“It was an honor to share about my experiences at Lehigh and speak about the incredible opportunities I've received through the Soaring Together Scholarship Program,” says Gaffney. “I also had the privilege of hearing from four highly accomplished female leaders who discussed what it was like to take risks. They spoke about opportunities that made them feel uncomfortable yet allowed them to grow.”

Attendees like Gaffney gained a renewed appreciation for the alumnae network and a reminder to prioritize personal wellbeing and mental health. “I left the event feeling deeply inspired by these women's remarkable achievements and the positive impact they've made in the world,” she adds. “Their advice has given me valuable insights that I hope to apply as I continue on my own career journey, striving to make a meaningful difference.”
