Rally 2018

The Rally is an annual celebration of spirit and lively performances that not only welcomes a new class of students, but also builds a solid bridge between the incoming class and the strong alumni network. Every year, first-year students are adopted by the alumni who began their own Lehigh experience 50 years prior.

On August 23, 2025, the tradition will continue as the Class of 1979 adopts the Class of 2029. Their shared class flag design reflects this connection — and echoes the Class of 1929, who adopted the ’79 class at their freshman Rally in 1975.

Their connection will come full circle in 2029, when the Class of ’79 celebrates its 50th Reunion during the same weekend as ’29’s Commencement.

Join us in remembering the adoption moments of Rally through the years.
