Tower Society
Recognizing those who have provided for Lehigh through a confirmed bequest intention, life income gift, and/or a gift to the endowment at a minimum level of $10,000.
Located at the highest point on Lehigh's campus, the Dorothy L. Stabler Tower is surrounded on all sides by tall windows that overlook the Lehigh Valley, offering a panoramic view of our scenic campus and beyond.
Likewise, Lehigh’s planned giving and endowment donors look out over the landscape of Lehigh’s future, providing a source of stability and strength, now and in the future. By including Lehigh in their estate plans through a confirmed bequest or making a planned or deferred gift, they play a crucial role in ensuring we are able to advance our mission of teaching, research, and service to others.
Frequently Asked Questions
To participate in the Tower Society, you may choose from multiple giving vehicles based on your personal plans to care for your family and also meet any commitment you might wish to make to Lehigh University from any of the following:
- Outright bequest payable on you/your death(s) directly to Lehigh University.
- Provision in will for surviving partner/spouse payable to Lehigh upon death.
- Through the creation of a charitable gift annuity or charitable remainder trust.
- Beneficiary of an IRA account.
- Gift to the endowment at a minimum level of $10,000.

Lehigh University's Tower Society recognizes alumni and friends who have made a gift in support of Lehigh’s mission with a confirmed bequest, by participating in the life income program, or by gifting to/creating an endowed fund.
